Our students are amazing; we are one big community of learners. Our students take a genuine interest in each other, work hard to achieve their goals, and constantly seek out new ways to learn. We love to wiggle, giggle, and grow!
Our school is a three-time National School of Character, and my seven and eight year olds shine every day.
Our students are both strong leaders and team players. They are hands-on learners who learn best through interaction and experience. Every day is a great day with the students - it's truly an honor to teach these children.
My Project
This past school year, kindergarten and first grade classrooms in our district made the transition from Chromebooks to iPad's. I know the students loved all they could do with their iPad's. Unfortunately, we are now faced with a learning curve.
I am asking for a new Chromebook to help my students learn how to use theirs!
Currently, I have a Chromebook provided by the district. This laptop is connected to my smartboard, so the students are unable to use it. I would like to have a lightweight, portable, larger screened laptop that I can pass around to the class so that they can use this before learning on their smaller devices. I hope to work alongside my students and look forward to teaching them with a compatible device!
