Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My second grade students are one of a kind. Each one enters my room coming from many different backgrounds and ethnicities which adds to my melting pot of a classroom. These are the kids that if you look them in their eyes, you have no idea what they just came from or had to experience before they reached my classroom door. Yet, despite the challenges, they are up against they show up every day, with a smile across their face and eager, ready and willing to learn! They ask questions, they challenge theories, and they want answers! They are creative thinkers who, when given the opportunity, will take the ball and run with it. My second graders are the CEOs, entrepreneurs, inventors, and scientists of the future!

My Project

When my students come to school, they are coming from many different types of places walking into my room facing many challenges. In my classroom, they are exposed to many things they would never see at home.

By introducing these technology, iPads to my students, I would be giving them an experience they would not have anywhere else.

These tablets can help my students discover new things, and research any and every topic they are interested in. Also by having my students use these tablets, it is preparing them for their future, by giving them the practice they need on operating them.
