Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a special day class teacher for students with Autism at a title one school. I have 10 K-2nd graders who are excited to learn. They love learning and enjoy school but because of their disability, they have a hard time showing what they are able to do on their own using traditional paper and pencil. The monitor will help students share on the screen in small groups what they learned. The earphones will alleviate noise while students are working on the tablet or computer, as they are already sensitive to noise. Having a technology center will help my students share what they learned in a fun, alternative way by using various technology devices and be creative.
