Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A while back we got some really cool tech resources added to our classroom (Thank You Donors) such as a class iPad and Cricut... However, we now need some additional technology to use our previous donations more seamlessly.

An Apple TV would allow students to quickly connect their iPad to our Apple laptops/desktops and the adaptor will allow for connection to the Cricut.

The students have taken a sense of pride in becoming so familiar with and confident in using these new additions. But as I said, we have had to problem solve and even resort to other options because the tech cannot connect to our computers/projectors. The Apple TV is a resource where the students will be able to simultaneously use their Ipad to explore math and project their findings to their classmates. One way that we use the Ipad in our classroom is by having students use it to highlight/explain their reasoning but we struggle to project their findings to the entire class. An Apple TV and projector will avoid this issue. They have made our classroom their own personalized environment and we would only put these new requests to great use.
