This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need an ASUS laptops to enhance their thinking skills. The laptop will help me complete a class set. Due to an increase in class size, I do not have enough devices for all my students to work on their assignments simultaneously. Some of the devices we have in our cart are starting to have issues. I am currently borrowing devices from other teachers in order to complete required assessments. With the implementation of CBT (Computer Based Testing) it is a problem not having enough devices. This situation is making us fall behind and I have to plan around the number of devices available to me. This will make an enormous difference in my students' learning gains as they will all benefit from having access to modern technology in the classroom.

Today technology is a powerful component in our students' education and allows them to gain knowledge in interactive ways.

I would love for my students to be able to complete the I-Ready lessons on these devices as well as take tests, quizzes or even do research. Having a complete set of devices would allow my students this opportunity. Donations will greatly benefit my students!
