My Students

I teach 7th and 8th grade Algebra and Geometry at a technology school unfortunately not equipped to provide the best resources for my students. Due to underfunding my school has only been able to provide 20th and early 21st century technology to students that are extremely outdated. My students and the math department at my school have managed sharing the supplied district laptops, but these laptops are not suffice enough to support every student.

Tackling this issue my dream would be to ensure every student inside and outside my classroom is supported but to have a few tablets to properly support my students level of enrichment will present my students the opportunities for growth and support to continue to thrive and feel supported.

My Project

Students will be able to use the Prestige Elitablets for remediation and in class assignments to incorporate technology in the classroom. The tablets can be shared, and will allow students the incentive to practice integrating technology through math app based programs for assignments and classwork.

Performance barriers for state and district test require students to test through technology, but with the lack of tech appliances available for students, forces an inconvenience to properly practice test taking skills.

With the addition of school tablets included to assist students to have a proper demonstration to test and integrate technology in the classroom.
