My Students

Most of my students come from low income families and many of them were affected by Hurricane Sandy. Throughout the year we give several assignments and extra credit reports.

Students who do not have access to a computer and more specifically a printer are not being given the opportunity to use and enhance their technology skills.

They want to hand in the best work possible and sometimes going to the library is not an option. They also want educatioonal materials that concern their health and the use of a printer will be able to give them access to these materials.

My Project

Students will now be able to use the printer for educational resources such as printing out their BMI's from the NYS FITNESSGRAM website. They will also be able to improve their technology skills and hand in work that they can be proud of. Students will be able to use their flash drives and print out their work in school.

Teaching has advanced into the technological world but unfortuantely we do not have access to this technology.

I would like to provide my students with every opportunity to do their personal best and link physical education with the common core learning standards and the rest of the subjects.
