Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have the pleasure to work with a group of 25 wonderful students. They are wonderful kids. Many of them are considered at risk and most of their families' incomes are at or below the poverty level.

I would love for my students to have all the support and supplies they need so they can have a positive first experience in school.

I believe a strong early childhood education is the key to creating success for all children regardless of their demographics.

My Project

Technology is an important part of today's society. I want my students to have access to technology and learn in the best way with two classroom iPads with protective covers. My students will use the iPads during literacy and math centers as well as small group instruction.

Students will practice letter and number recognition through various applications on the iPads such as ABC Mouse and Starfall.

My students will enjoy this interactive experience. I believe this will enhance their literacy and math skills to better prepare them for kindergarten. This funded project would provide my Pre-K students with the technology they deserve to excel in school.
