Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 1st graders commute from all boroughs of New York City to come to school and come from a variety of different backgrounds and ethnicities. They are very curious about the world around them and enjoy learning about different things.

For many students, reading and writing is unfortunately not carried over into home life which makes it difficult for them to keep up.

Our goal this year is to help our students achieve their goals in ways that are relevant and exciting to their interests and needs through a variety of interacting learning apps!

My Project

The use of iPads in the classroom will improve students' learning and have a positive impact on their education experiences as it will provide the children with an engaging new way to increase their reading abilities and keep them motivated.

Many of our students do not show interest in reading books which causes extreme delays in their academic abilities.

By donating to our project, you will not only be helping our classroom as a whole, but you will also be a part of the increase of achievement in areas of struggle for specific students in our classroom!
