Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Ever felt like you've tried every magic trick you can think of to engage and motivate your students to learn? I know I have! One good trick that my students are drawn to is a tablet. Unfortunately, my students don't have access to technology considering this is a new school.

I will be teaching in a brand new school that for the moment has no technology available for our students.

The school is in a low socioeconomic community where most of my students receive free lunch. Most of my students are also English Language Learners with limited resources at home and no technology at school. Students LOVE technology and I don't want them to miss out on this wonderful learning tool.

My Project

Technology is an essential component in a child's education. A good way to expose them daily to today's technology can be with the use of inexpensive tablets. These 2 Kindle Fires will enrich my students' learning via Internet access and interactive educational programs. It will improve areas such as reading, writing, and much more. The Kindles will open a new world of learning and will spark their curiosity even more.

Please help my students experience this awesome interactive educational tool.

It will enhance the achievement of all students while having fun! Just imagine all the magical moments and academic growth: fluency, phonics, reading comprehension, access to their favorite books/authors, and the endless research for new information. Together we can help my students experience the most up-to-date technology.
