My Students

I teach 3rd grade at a small town Title I school. I have a variety of students in my class. They love to have fun while learning.

I constantly get asked, "What fun thing are we doing today, Mrs. Hinson?"

I love hearing them say they love school, and they think it is fun! In today's society, the children do not do well just sitting and listening to a lecture. They thrive with hands-on activities and group work. Whenever we do group activities, my students get really excited!

My Project

Having two more kindles will allow my student's the opportunity to use technology more in the classroom. We do not have a computer lab or enough laptops for all the children to use them. This will allow my student's to get on the required programs we use in class. I am also asking for the charging system. The one we have now is constantly falling apart and the cords are getting tangled. Most days it takes longer for them to untangle the cords or fix the stand than they have time to use them. With the new charging station it will be organized and more user friendly.
