My Project

Over the past few years, we have seen how important and engaging technology can be for our students. For my class, my students are extremely drawn to technology and are more engaged while interacting with the technology. My school unfortunately does not offer technology classes so I try to incorporate as much as I can within my own lessons with the limited resources we have.

Technology is our future, we need to show our students the positive experiences that these devices can offer and provide!

There are a plethora of ways in which I can implement technology throughout our day. Students can utilize these devices through small group rotations, earn it as a reward, or be a part of specific reading programs that my school provides.

If granted these devices, they will be HIGHLY utilized and beyond appreciated by not only myself but my students as well. My students come from various socioeconomic backgrounds and have limited technology at home. By having these devices in the classroom, they are given the opportunity to be exposed and learn with the technology itself. They will feel so wanted and feel like they belong with their peers! We love that social emotional growth!
