Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are an eclectic group with diverse learning styles. They are enthusiastic and ready to learn in spite of the tough neighborhood and harsh circumstances that they come from. Many are retainees and are in dire need of language skills acquisition. I am sure that if they are given the opportunity to fill this skill deficit, they will surpass the expectations and become successful students. They are a hard working bunch and I am sure that they can reach their goals.

My Project

This laptop will help my students be successful in the classroom by allowing them to view and print their iReady data. They will also use this for research purposes during our Science class. My students come from low technology backgrounds and I feel that they need all the exposure we can give them at school, so that they can succeed in the world. These students are hard working and put in a lot of effort. I believe this laptop will help show the skills they have been acquiring and help them practice how to be responsible and tech savvy adults.
