My Students

"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose" -Dr.Seuss I read this quote to my students every morning. I have a diverse group of students. They need encouragement that their current situation will get better!

My school is a Title 1 school that serves a population of 1,167.

The demographics are 50% African American, 38% Hispanic, 5% White and 5% Asian. Many of my students do not have technology in their homes. The iPads will give the students a new way to explore learning.

My Project

The students will be able to practice all new skills they are taught in class with the use of the iPads. The iPads will have various apps and websites that can help close any learning gaps for my students. Students will use the iPads in small groups, group work and at workstations.

The donation of iPads and cases will make a huge difference for my students in helping them exceed expectations.

My students will get a chance to explore a different avenue of learning.
