Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are Gifted and Talented students from Kinder to 5th grade. My classes include English Language Learners, Spanish Language Learners, Low SES students, and Special Education students.

As many Gifted and Talented students, my kids are curious, passionate about learning new knowledge, problem solvers, and very engaged in learning and creating their own projects.

Every semester, they complete GT projects, so they have to conduct research independently to create a final product. Technology is highly needed for this activity.

My Project

These materials will be used to control our Sphero Robots which can only be controlled with Apple products. In addition, these materials will allow the teacher to control the projector to model lessons, activities, and give the teacher to have mobility around the classroom while teaching.

In addition, a new iPad will support our students to develop their projects through online research.

My school was affected by a tornado a couple of months ago. Before the tornado we had a good amount of technology, so now we are trying to replace items that were lost in that event. Technology is definitively a high need.
