Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have a range of modern to mild autism. They need to be kept busy or they will have episode. By not having the proper equipment and supplies these students are being underserved.

Every student is special and they need extra supplies that are not provided making it hard to work on social behavior as well as academics.

They are equally as important, but lack the funds to provide the necessary supplies. Please help us give these student a place full of enrichment both socially as academically.

My Project

Most of my students are nonverbal, so assessing them is extremely difficult. However, having technology will help us provide a better understanding of how they are evolving.

We need to be able to provide the necessary supplies for the demand of our special students.

Most of our students smooth their anxiety when given a device to work with. There are many technological resources, but we can not access them without the technology. This year our class increased from 8 students to 18 students; and we only have 5 iPads, making it impossible to meet most of the students' needs. Getting this extra iPad will give a relief from anxiety to another student.
