The students that I see each day in my three 5th grade classrooms come from a very small, rural farming town. More than fifty percent of our four hundred students are on our free or reduced-price lunch program. We have students from all types of homes and diverse backgrounds.
My students never cease to amaze me with what they can, and have, overcome.
They are sweet, beautiful souls who deserve my very best, and that is what I strive to give them each and every day.
My Project
My students are full of creative ideas each day. Technology has the ability to enhance those creative ideas and give students the ability to publish and/or share their work.
Having a mini-projector and movie screen will enable students to share their creations with their peers.
Whether it be creative book reports or stop motion films made with their LEGO kit, having the ability to eventually share their work through the use of a mini-projector will give my students increased motivation and a sense of pride.
With the use of the 3D Printing Pen and filament, students will be able to create 3D models to go along with what we are learning in class.
