My Students

I have students who love to use technology, such as using a laptop or an iPad to read on Epic or to solve math word problems on MobyMax. However, my students do not enough technology devices in class or at home. Using Epic and MobyMax is a great tool to keep my students engaged and motivated to read and to do math.

My third grade class consists of general education and special education learners who are motivated and curious to learn when they are engaged in real and authentic hands-on experiences.

Having technology devices, supports our Title I school belief that our diverse population learning needs must to be met in a variety of ways. When my students use technology, they also focus better and perform higher on school examinations.

My Project

By donating to this project, you will be helping my students learn in a variety of ways, so they can receive individualized instruction in both reading and math. Differentiation instruction is significant to helping a child gain progress in any subject at their own comfort level.

With these two new chromebooks, the students in my 3rd grade classroom will be given the opportunity to practice their fact fluency in multiplication and division along with watching math videos to aid them in understanding math concepts.

My students will also be able to write and type their own information books like an author using Chromebooks as well.

Lastly, you will help my students gain a variety of learning experiences that will help them be ready for the 21st century, since technology is advancing. Learning how to use a computer is a skill that is needed to obtain a job in the future and to be successful in college. With this opportunity, my students will be given the skills to be ready for the real world.
