My Students

We all learn differently and deserve an individualized education, so it makes sense to incorporate technology in order to fulfill this need. My goal is always to increase my students' reading levels. My biggest challenge is to work with each of my 26 1st graders individually.

My students are first graders in an urban setting.

They're very creative and eager to learn. Our school is a very welcoming community that values the differences and talents of others. We are a PreK-5th grade school. Every year we continue to grow and improve because of the dedicated students, teachers, staff, families, and community members.

My Project

The additional 2 computers will allow more of my students to access our reading intervention programs. Currently, we do not have a full computer cart, which all of our 1st and 2nd grade classes use. My students will use research-based intervention programs on the computers during our Daily-5 part of the literacy block.

Your donation will help increase literacy skills, which are extremely important in order to function in our competitive world.

Also, this project will increase college and career readiness.
