Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from a Title I School; we are located in a low income neighborhood. They are eager to learn but lack the necessary supplies. School starts in August, and parents struggle to purchase supplies or even uniforms.

Hurricane Harvey left us devastated now we are in the road to recovery.

They come to school with hopes and dreams. I want to enhance their dreams by increasing their knowledge. Fifth grade is a crossroads for my students as they are on their way to middle school. My students enjoy working on workstations.

My Project

This project will expand our technology use in the classroom. My goal with the laptop/tablet is to connect it to the smart-board. I want to be able to move around the classroom and still be connect to the board.

Some of the basic necessities that my students are in need are such as pencils.

The colorful pens are going to be used to color code notes in our journals. I am also requesting Time For Kids Practicing for STAAR Success Mathematics. This is a wonderful resource I will use to get my students ready for end of year testing. After hurricane Harvey hit Houston I want to provided my students with the resources they need.
