My Students

Welcome to my 8:1:1 classroom!!! We are a NYC D75 school! This program is for students with disabilities from K-2. My students are creative, enthusiastic, and excited to learn. We are all about hands on learning!! We use a variety of tools because our students need 1:1 support and hands-on materials to learn.

My Project

The use of technology will be of great use to our classroom. We are located in the inner city of the Bronx in low social economic area. Lots of our students are in shelters and do not have access to technology. These iPads will be a helpful resource for our students to engage in academic activities, speech and language development, as well as teach students how to use iPads. My students are all students with special needs. I believe making a technology area in our classroom will help my students engage and creates active learners. They will benefit from the use of iPads and it will allow us to make learning more interesting and fun.
