Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are Extraordinary Learners! They have adjusted very well to this new way of learning. This enables me to provide an accelerated curriculum with much ease.

They have come to school ready to tackle any challenges that may arise!

Their curiosity is shown throughout the day. We often engage in conversation which includes various topics from current events to historical events. They enjoy these discussions and often conduct research to find out more!

My Project

Technology has become so very important in education! Students are required to become proficient in many areas of this journey. As teachers, we have been challenged with delivering instruction to students in a virtual manner. This posses a problem when students aren't equipped to engage in instruction due to the lack of reliable devices. With the proper working device (laptop), students will be given the opportunity to excel both in the class and remotely.

Because we are practicing social distancing in the classroom, students can have laptops stationed on their desks while engaging in instruction either face to face or virtually (Zoom).

Because laptops are mobile, they increase the opportunity for students to work virtually in collaborative groups as well as complete assignments/assessments through various educational applications.

Lastly, we will be able to access virtual fieldtrips which enhances the learning experience!
