Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is 98 years old and beautiful, but in disrepair. I'm ready to put in the work to make my new classroom a safe space that encourages communication, inquiry, and positive student growth. The wallpaper will cover peeling paint on walls and damaged cabinets. The ottomans provide flexible seating to promote interaction as well as create a cozy reading nook with the rug.

My vision is to create an updated, organized, and functional classroom that children are excited to call their own.

Students will be excited to present projects and demonstrate their work using the document camera and mobile desk. I will use this technology daily during instruction as well.
