Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come to school every day with smiles on their faces, ready to learn and become college ready. In our class, we work as a "team" to make each other better and accomplish anything that comes our way!

I teach at a large school in New York City where 100 percent of my students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Many of my students come from low income families and lack the resources needed to extend their knowledge at home. Despite so many hardships, my students come to school ready to do their best and learn all they can so they can be successful.

My Project

Having an Apple TV will allow for different ways of learning in my classroom. One way it will be used is as a mini lesson to project my IPad to the Smartboard. Students can grab the iPad and type in the answer from where they are sitting. Another way it will be used is by havimg students in charge of their own Class Dojo points and taking the iPad to give themselves a point. All the other students will be able to see it on the Smartboard because of the Apple TV. Having an Apple TV in our classroom will help bring more creativity in the classroom!
