My Students

In order to succeed in todays world you need to be able to use various types of technology. My students have access to pc's but not Apple technology. They need practice in using this platform to help tech savvy and be able to compete in this technology age.

My students are from an area where the average family income is less than $10,000.

The only access they have to technology is at school. Since they only have access to one platform they are miss part of the technology in the world. Apple has become a huge competitor in the last decade; because of this students need to be able to operate an Apple system. I want to give my students all the advantage available to be successful life-long learners. Giving the an opportunity to learn a new computer system will help them open new technology doors and new opportunity in their educational career. To be able to say I know how to use both a pc and Apple technology will give them an advantage in life.

My Project

Students will use this iPad Mini in their research projects. They will be able to research and present their findings to the class. My students will be able to access apps that can help them become better readers, mathematicians, scientists and researchers. These are positions that my students believe they are unable to achieve but this is just the beginning for them. I want my students to feel that they can become anything they want and achieve all the goals that they have set for themselves.

This project will give my students hope; a hope that they can achieve anything they want.

Using the Apple platform to get ahead in life will help produce a well rounded, life-long learners.
