My Students

Kindergarten is such a magical time. The children come into school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances. Do you remember the last time you were brave?

No two children are the same.

Some of my students come in already knowing how to read, write, and count. While others come in just knowing their name and recognizing some letters and just learning how to hold a pencil. Even though my students have different abilities, they are all creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on activities, engaging projects and asking questions. Oh how they love to ask questions! One has to be prepared for my class!

My Project

Kindergarten has changed a lot over the years. The students are expected to achieve more than ever before. This is more evident as we embark on the new world of hybrid learning. These Chromebooks will be a resource for the students to use. For example, the can access the on-line classroom, watch lessons on line, and work on assignments. It will be a piece of technology that can be used at school and at home. Many of my students do not have access to such technology at home. This will be a way to make the school-home connection stronger.
