Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students make up the first grade ICT class, which means I have a mixture of student levels. We academically have extremely low students and extremely high students, then we have students who hit the grade level exactly. This makes my job and my co-teachers' job a challenge.

Most of the day, my students are doing different activities, due to the differentiation that takes place in the classroom.

We are using a lot of different tools to make this differentiation work.

My Project

My students desperately need some more computers. Currently right now we have three computers to 32 students. Our school gives us computer software for students to learn some standard common core material on, however students aren't getting to use this software enough to make it worth it. This is why your donation would greatly help us out. With your donation, I could place 10 students on computers and this would mean students could get to use the computer more often during the week. Using computers helps students learn in a fun way as well as encourages them to learn how to use technology.
