My Project
Greetings, DC family! Right now, I'm using a Lenovo Thinkpad distributed by Atlanta Public Schools. This device is not mobile at all and the battery can't last more than 4 hours on a single, complete charge. I'm confined to my desk and charger (God forbid I leave the charger at home). The casing on this computer is cracking and the keyboard isn't even backlit so that I can work in low-light conditions. I'm looking for a device that's reliable, powerful, mobile and versatile. I love the tablet feature of this device, as it will allow me to move around class and monitor students and work at the same. The battery capacity can last well beyond the school day. It's compact yet powerful. This device will most definitely make an impact in my STEM class concerning my productivity and ability to support student learning. I want to be able to model for them what good tech looks like, and how technology can be a tool utilized to support learning. Anything you could contribute to eliminate technological obstacles for me in order to help my students is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much in advance.
