My Students

We have fun and learn math at the same time! Math does not have to be boring!

My school is made up of such a variety of students.

A majority are middle class but we also have students from a lower socio-economic environment. We have students of most every race and background, as well as students with diverse learning styles. Our school is located in a suburban area within a 20 minute drive of one of the largest cities in our state as well as a military base. We have a large and transient military population.

My Project

Using the iPad my students will have access to apps and games that will enrich their learning of the math curriculum. It will also allow me to assess them in ways that I otherwise would not be able to. Students in this day and time respond to these new methods and are shown to retain the information they receive better.

I will be able to provide access to technology for students that otherwise may not have access.

They will not feel left out if we do an activity in class that requires technology that they may not be able to afford.
