Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a Title I school in an inner city. Ninety-four percent of our students are eligible for free lunch and breakfast. Teaching in an urban setting can provide struggles for our students to find activities to build mental awareness, sportsmanship, hand eye coordination, and more outside after school.

We are looking for new and exciting ways to incorporate those skills in and out of our classroom!

My Project

Technology in physical education is essential in today's classroom. The Chromebook and iPad requested will allow my students to access a deeper level of learning and understand the content in class. Students will be able to create learning profiles and complete work in their Google Classroom.

Students who need support in class or those who lack internet or technology at home will have instant access to technology right in the gymnasium.

By integrating this new technology my students will be able to complete extension activities. Providing students with opportunities to integrate technology into learning experiences. Bring physical education into the 21st century.
