Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are hardworking, motivated, and eager to learn, but many face challenges that make academic success difficult—especially a lack of access to computers at home. Despite these obstacles, they are determined to succeed, and I want to ensure that no student falls behind simply because they lack the necessary resources. I am requesting Mac computers to create a dedicated space in my office where students can work on assignments during lunch or after school. Many school tasks require reliable technology, and without access to a computer, some students struggle to complete research, projects, and homework. These Macs, printer and ink will give them the tools they need to stay on track and build essential digital skills.

This project will provide equal access to technology, ensuring every student has a fair opportunity to succeed.

It will support academic achievement by helping students complete assignments, conduct research, and develop digital literacy. Additionally, it will create a safe and productive learning environment where students can focus on their studies outside of regular class hours. Most importantly, it will prepare them for the future by equipping them with the technological skills necessary for higher education and careers.

My students are incredibly dedicated and work hard despite the challenges they face outside the classroom. They are eager to learn and grow but need the right tools to do so. This project isn’t just about technology—it’s about ensuring fairness in education and providing every student with the opportunity to reach their full potential. With your support, we can help bridge the digital divide and empower these students to succeed. **Thank you for making a difference!**
