My Students

My students are amazing kids who face many challenges both at home and at school. My students all have various disabilities, but they don't let their disabilities hold them back.

All of my students are unique, but one thing is the same in each of them: they love to learn!

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and face many challenges before even entering our school. We work together every day to overcome those challenges and reach new heights. I work with about 75 special education students every week, reaching kids with various disabilities. My students love to move, explore, and play.

My Project

Due to the Covid-19 crisis, my students are learning from home. Some of my students are struggling more than others to keep learning, because they don't have the technology they need at home. My students need tablets so that they can access lessons and learning even while we are learning apart. Technology, such as a tablet, will allow my students to participate in online learning and activities. The added benefit of these specific tablets is that they will allow my students with disabilities to access their learning resources in an accessible, touch screen way.

Some of my students haven't been able to participate in all of our distance learning activities because they don't have access to technology at home.

With your help, my amazing students will not be held back by the fact that they don't have technology at home. They will be able to participate in reading activities, number and math games, as well as specific instruction designed with their disabilities in mind. They will be able to participate and continue learning, despite the school closures and their lack of technology access.
