This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are seeking donations to purchase iPads to support our students. Many of our students have special needs, and for some, writing can be a real challenge. While we currently have Chromebooks, they are older and often unreliable, making it difficult for the students to consistently access the resources they need. Having a pair of iPads with keyboards would provide them with a more reliable and user-friendly tool to assist with their learning.

These iPads will be used in our history class for research purposes, helping students navigate the material more efficiently.

The combination of technology and the ability to type rather than write by hand will allow our students to engage more fully and independently in their studies.
