Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

8th grade is a pivotal grade in which students are emerging in math skills that will allow them to become and feel successful. These invigorating students often tell me that they need more to make their learning engaging and meaningful.

My students are thoughtful, creative, amazing, and full of personality.

Students at my school come from a wide variety of academic and social-economic backgrounds.

My Project

My district has students learning face to face and virtual learning which requires many screens to facilitate the true math experience students need from both places of teaching and learning. I currently teach from a district laptop and do not have a home desktop/laptop.

Students need to be able to have math taught in a variety of ways so that math is meaningful and engaging.

Students deserve to have their classtime optimized by not having to wait for the next activity to load or be shared. My equipment for math needs to be portable in the off chance the school district goes fully remote or the fact that schedules, rooms change, etc.
