Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As 5th grade health students, my class is diving into important lessons about wellness, nutrition, and mental health, which are made more engaging through Chromebook assignments. However, we are limited by a lack of essential technology resources. The headphones and mouses I’m requesting will significantly improve their ability to focus and interact with digital learning materials. Headphones will allow students to listen to instructional videos and health-related content without distractions, while mouses will make navigating through digital assignments smoother and more efficient, helping them succeed in their tasks.

This project will particularly benefit my English language learners, bilingual students, and those with special needs.

These students face additional challenges in processing information and providing them with the right resources headphones for focused listening and mouses for easier navigation will allow them to better engage with the material. These tools will help them work at their own pace, access content more effectively, and improve their overall academic performance.

My goal is to equip my students with the necessary resources to enhance their learning experience and ensure they can engage deeply with the digital content we use in health education. By providing these tools, I hope to create a more effective and focused classroom environment where students can thrive, feel confident, and develop important skills for the future.

What makes my students special is their eagerness to learn and the unique challenges they face. As a school with limited resources, every opportunity for them to access better learning tools helps level the playing field and ensures they receive the quality education they deserve. They are hardworking, passionate about health, and truly deserve the best tools to help them succeed. Thank you for your support!
