My students are the most intelligent, creative, and hardworking group of people I have ever met. I am requesting a Macbook Air laptop so that I can continue to challenge them and connect them to the latest in digital learning platforms and opportunities. In my district, teachers are not supplied with working laptops. I currently bring my own personal laptop from home to do work at school. However, my laptop is over five years old and already starting to show signs of wearing down.
A Macbook Air laptop will allow me to connect to classroom projectors to display lessons, as well as plan those lessons and units during my prep periods.
It will also allow me to grade assignments submitted through Google Classroom.
