My Project

I have the absolute best job in the whole world. I love teaching my kindergarten students. They are sponges that just want to absorb everything they are being taught. However, due to COVID-19 and having to be safe in their homes with their parents they missed out on so much. This would have been the time they were forming social skills and emotional self regulation skills. They were not able to have playdates, trips to the park or summer day camps. They were unable to be with kids their own age and learn how to play together. They lack problem solving skills, how to work as a team and cooperation skills. I am wanting to get my students board games, floor puzzles and supplies for an art center they can enjoy together. I have also included books on being a good friend and kindness.

Thank you for helping my student learn how to be a team and work together.
