Our students are the best and they deserve the best! We have a strong team of students that bring a smile to our faces every day. They are motivated learners who are excited to try new things and explore the world around them.
Providing students with the resources they need to be successful learners makes them ready to be independent and creative thinkers.
For our students, it is the simple things that have a dramatic effect on their learning and aspirations.
They deserve the best environment possible to establish confidence, encourage creativity and maintain a drive for learning!
My Project
The materials provided by this project will make reading and writing more fun. Half of the battle in the classroom revolves around student engagement and getting them excited about what they are learning. Having full-color printed activities, or silly glasses to help them focus, or a balance ball to keep them moving, or a focus spot in a fun place around the room, or fun flashlights to read in the dark, will help them engage with their reading in creative ways.
First-grade students are creative and they want to learn, so why not make that learning fun?
Some of the most simple adjustments to their day can brighten their take on learning. These materials will bring in some creativity and meet the needs of more students. Each of them can choose their favorite way to read, their favorite bin of books, their favorite spot, and get to it!
