Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A typical day for my students is a day of cardiovascular training, strength exercise and a sporting activity for the day. Some of the activities the students play are football, soccer, basketball, and more.

The students that I teach come from low income housing.

They don't have much but when they come here, my students are always ready to participate and give it their best. They are smart, caring, and students that are willing to give everything they can.

My Project

Most of our equipment in P.E are getting pretty banged up. Most of the balls we have will deflate in hours after being inflated. The basketballs are losing their grip, and things like our soccer nets/goals are broken. What I am requesting are new footballs, soccer balls, volleyballs and more to ensure students have the best equipment and games possible. With this new equipment, the students will be able to play sports with brand new equipment and ensure they are getting the best quality materials for their sport.

The difference it will make would be astounding.

The equipment we have are old, broken and deflated. With the new equipment like new footballs and basketballs, we won't have to worry about our sport being ruined or delayed. We would be able to play our sport and also learn new drills as well.
