This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Funding this project will allow me to both acquire and develop a robust grouping of skills surrounding support in self-care, resiliency, yoga, meditation, mindfulness and yoga. The goal of this project is to build on the necessary skills to guide and support youth as they work through unthinkable challenges, are faced with unspeakable traumas, and develop their trauma resiliency skills and self care skills. Great teachers are lifelong learners, and by continuing my own learning, I can provide the most impactful guidance and opportunities for vulnerable practice in building their skills, sharing their stories and changing the trajectory of their lives.
