Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I've got 36 active and energetic learners who love learning about the world around them! We are located in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, and we have a small, but very diverse population.

My class is filled with dreamers and builders!

Our school's focus is on integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), which fits in perfectly with what our class loves to do. My students get excited about learning and creating and my job is to help them dream big and reach their goals.

My Project

In order to learn about the world around them, my students need the tools to explore. With so many questions, we need new technology to research and find the answers to those big questions!

Learning, researching, and creating- we're going to do all of it with a new set of Chromebooks.

We do a lot of group work in our class and even one computer per group can make a huge difference. The students will not only get research skills, but will have access to a number of learning applications that will improve their reading, writing and math skills.
