Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are wonderful children who are motivated and eager to learn. All of my students are English Language Learners. We have an 87% poverty rate and our school qualifies for the free lunch program. My students are bused in from a community with a heavy gang presence.

Each day my students walk into my classroom with a positive attitude and an inquisitive mind.

They are loving, respectful, caring, and energetic. They show a thirst for knowledge and an eagerness to learn something new each day.

My Project

My students will use these iPads when working in small groups. Students will be able to listen to reading, practice math skills, and research topics with confidence and excitement. My students need these iPads in order to learn the vital skills of technology. We will use these iPads during our Daily 5 groups.

As English Language Learners my students need access to technology in order to succeed in all subject areas.

Technology brings an excitement in the classroom. Excitement of learning creates a positive classroom environment. This project will help my students in so many ways. We thank you in advance!
