My Students

Remember walking into your classroom and seeing something exciting on the board that left you wondering what you were going to be doing today? Seeing my students excited from the moment they walk in is the best feeling in the world, not being able to provide my children with that is the worst!

My third graders are the most eager to learn students!

I have the top class this year, these students are just sponges that want to soak up as much information as humanely possible! I am in a high poverty New York City elementary school, with the best community of teachers and students! My students love to learn and love and really want to be a part of the teaching and learning!

My Project

With a new HP Envy laptop in our classroom, as the teacher, I will be able to create interactive lessons that engage my students. They will be able to be hands on as we study cultures around the world, and zoom into to maps to see live pictures and videos of countries around the world. They will be able to move math manipulative's around the world, to really have a concrete understanding of their rigorous word problems. With a new computer, my students with be able to have fun engaging in educational games like science jeopardy!

Currently, our class has an old computer, that makes it impossible to download current software, and plan interactive lessons.

With a new computer, I can plan these activities much faster, and much more regularly. My students will be engaged and involved in the lesson for every subject daily, not just on special occasions.
