My Students

"There can be infinite uses of the computer and of new age technology, but if teachers themselves are not able to bring it into the classroom and make it work, then it fails," said Senator Nancy Kassebaum.

My twenty third grade students live and attend school in a moderate poverty school near Central Ohio.

My students love using technology in our classroom, especially playing learning games on the computer! The trouble is, we don't have any games of our own to play! We have to find games online, which isn't always easy to do independently.

My Project

These language arts, math, and science CD-ROMs will allow my students to practice the skills they are learning in a fun and interactive way while at our computer station. We will also be able to do these games as an entire class using our interactive whiteboard. I know my students will love playing these games and won't even realize they are learning while having fun at the same time!

Donating to this project will bring some exciting computer games into our classroom.
