My Students

Kindergarten was once a place where children went to socialize and learn through play experiences. Today's kindergarten looks very different, with the emphasis on academic achievement and very few opportunities for play. For some students, this can lead to boredom and behavior problems.

My students come from a wide range of backgrounds.

Some come to school with vast experiences and background knowledge, while others have had very limited educational experiences before entering kindergarten, and are unprepared for the high expectations of students entering school. However, all of these students combined are what makes my job the best job in the world! These little ones come to school excited and ready learn.

My Project

My students love the iPad Station that we have in our classroom. I would love to add an Osmo Starter Kit and an extra base that will provide them with more learning opportunities to enhance their learning experience. We also need more kid friendly cases for our iPads and additional charging cables to keep our iPad Station running smoothly.

The addition of the Osmo Starter Kit will combine hands on learning materials with the iPad technology that we already have in place.

This will cause the students to interact and become more engaged in the learning experience rather than just looking at a screen.
