I am a middle school Social Studies teacher at P.S./I.S. 109. These days, students are more interested in what they are doing after school, or the new music video that just came out. It is my hope, that by introducing new ways of teaching my lessons to the students, that they will be interested in history just like they are the music videos. In order to do this, I would need the help of donors. I would like to have a laser projector to hook up to a computer so that I can give some of my lessons on power point. In addition, I would be able to take my students on virtual field trips. When the students had a project to do, they could use power point and later display it to the whole class using the projector. Hopefully my students will see that learning can be fun. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope my students will be able to experience this fun during the school year.
