My Students

"Do we get to do that?!" is often a phrase heard in our classroom. The students in my classroom, everyday, are eager to learn and try new things. Outside of school they do not typically have many opportunities, as I work at a Title I school in which many students are a part of the free and reduced lunch program. My school district is in a small community, in east Texas, and our students do not always have easy access to experiences and opportunities like schools in a bigger city would.

My Project

The students in my classroom are learning about technology and as our society improves the use of technology I want to be able to teach my students how to use it responsibly. In order to do this we need access to the technology. By providing an iPad for my classroom you will be aiding me in teaching students how to be responsible with technology and helping younger students learn the steps needed to use this equipment.

Technology provides so many options for students!

In our class we want to be able to create movies and sound clips and use QR codes but in order to do this we need a iPad. THe headphones will allow the students to work quietly and hear what they need to without interrupting their neighbors. The case will serve for protection from accidental drops.
