This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at Title I school where most of our elementary school students come from low-income families. Most of our families struggle with economic issues. My students are a group of amazing, smart children whose cultural and economic differences do not stop them or get in their way of doing big things.

I would like to provide my students with the higher level of education they deserve.

I am aware of their need for us to add variety to their lives and show them that we love and care about them. My students are amazing individuals who just need tools and a little push in the right direction.

We are here for them, to provide any help possible to lift them up and keep them encouraged and skilled enough to be prepared to live fulfilled, happy, productive lives.

These laptops and tablets will greatly help my students. Through the eyes of a different perspective, these little hands will use a developmentally appropriate, interactive technology that is perfect for them. My students rely on visuals to comprehend what they are learning. These laptops and tablets will help me create a more exciting and fun experience for my students.

By donating to my project, you will help me provide my students with the high-quality technology they deserve, increase my students' attention and focus, and you will also ultimately help them reach their academic goals and move up to a higher proficiency level.
