My Project

Being on the autism spectrum can be challenging but there is a number of articles that say iPads help foster effective learning in the classroom, especially those with special disabilities. When there are bright visuals, a voice to aid in attention and repetition and programs geared towards students on the spectrum, my students can understand lessons on their own terms and in the ease of their own hands.

Boom Cards, Interactive stories, youtube read alouds, epic books: These are all wonderful resources that kids LOVE using and have shown great attention to when it is used in the classroom.

Learning while being on the autism spectrum can be challenging but if you can pair learning with things that students love they can take in so much more information than we know.
