Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my classroom are a generation of 'technology first' learners. Smartphones, 4K television, and the cloud.

They are comfortable with swiping and clicking as a medium to learn and investigate.

My students are at home now and learning from a new paradigm of distance learning.

They will champion on despite some not so positive living and financial arrangements. One big commonality they all share is their interest in technology. They will be able to carry on their studies in this new ideal of at home distance learning.

My Project

With a new document camera, my students will be given the opportunity to utilize visual demonstrations and examples to enhance their distance learning experiences.

By providing the appropriate technologies students are given the best chance of adapting to the means and ways of this new style of teaching.

Imagine reading a book, displaying a math worksheet, or even capturing myself in front of a whiteboard as students chime in with their ideas and answers.

A clear and focused image is an absolute must to giving ALL students the ability to SEE academic models, reading books, copying written examples, as well as their teacher.
